LAN (Local Area Network):

Computers and other mobile devices use a LAN connection to share resources such as a printer or network storage.

WAN (Wide Area Network)

Short for Wide Area Network, WAN is a collection of computers and network resources connected via a network over a geographic area. Wide-Area Networks are commonly connected either through the Internet or special arrangements made with phone companies or other service providers.

MAN (Metropolitan Area Network)

A metropolitan area network (MAN) is a network that interconnects users with computer resources in a geographic area or region larger than that covered by even a large local area network (LAN) but smaller than the area covered by a wide area network (WAN). The term is applied to the interconnection of networks in a city into a single larger network (which may then also offer efficient connection to a wide area network). It is also used to mean the interconnection of several local area networks by bridging them with backbone lines. The latter usage is also sometimes referred to as a campus network.

First of all, I can not say that I am a very good software developer myself. But I work every day to make it better. I'm just going to give you some advice from my eye. It's up to you to judge right or wrong.

What program should we start with?
